My experience in graphic and web design.

Work Experience

Currently I'm a web developer for New Boston Creative Group in Manhattan, Kansas. I work remotely from Wyoming.

For the previous 10 years I was the Website Designer for Manufacturing-Works. Working with Jake Bartholomew, the Graphic Designer and Brand Manager at M-W, we created the in-house work, and we also worked with clients around Wyoming. I started at M-W in 2004 as a part-time student worker, and became full-time in 2005.

You can see my experience in my work as well. I have fun with what I do, and I hope I can have fun creating something for you as well.

Teaching

Every year since 2004 (except 2014) I’ve presented a two day lecture covering the basics of HTML and CSS for a University of Wyoming computer science class.

Tools: Software, Programming and Markup Languages

  • HTML, CSS, and Less.
  • Some PHP, and MySQL
  • Some Javascript
  • Some ASP, and VB Script
  • I'm learning Drupal
  • And I’ll throw in MS Basic and dBase, although I may be a bit rusty in those.
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (I've been using Adobe products since version 5.5. That's the pre-Creative Suite version.)
  • Dreamweaver
  • Bryce 5 (3D software)
  • Office and other normal every-day software.
